Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive rods. Motile. Produce an ellipsoidal, central spore in swollen sporangia.
Colonies on R2A medium are 1–3 mm in diameter, cream-colored, circular, viscous,
flat, and entire. Growth occurs at 35-45 ºC, at pH 7.0-9.0 and in 0.5-1.5% (w/v) NaCl.
Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from the forest soil of Kyonggi University.
Susceptible to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, rifampicin, streptomycin, kanamycin, gentamicin, tetracycline, erythromycin and polymyxin B.
