Gram-negative rods. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are non-pigmented and non-haemolytic. Grows on MacConkey agar.
Optimum growth temperature is 30 ºC. Can grow at 42 ºC. Aerobic.
Isolated from clinical (human sputum, patient with cystic fibrosis) and environmental samples.
