Caballeronia,
Caballeronia arationis (Peeters et al. 2016) Dobritsa et al. 2017.

Old synonym:
Burkholderia arationis Peeters et al. 2016.
Gram-negative rods with rounded ends, occuring as single units or in pairs.
Non-motile.
Colonies on trypticase soy agar after 48h incubation at 28 ºC are round, 1 mm in
diameter, smooth, shiny, translucent, with entire margins and a white-creamy color.
Grows on MacConkey agar. Growth occurs at 15-28 ºC and at pH 6 in nutrient broth
(NB) at 28 ºC (the type strain did not grow in liquid NB medium). Grows aerobically
(anaerobic growth not tested).
Isolated from botanical garden soil in Belgium in 2014.
Undetermined.
