Gram-negative cells. Non-sporulating. Motile.
Strictly aerobic. Grows optimally at 25-30 °C, at pH 7-7.5. Grows on trypticase soy
agar. Can grow at 15 ºC but not at 42 ºC. Cannot grow in 1.5 or 2% NaCl.
Isolated from soil of a ginseng field in Yeoncheon province, Republic of Korea.
Sensitive to ceftazidine and tetracycline. Resistant to penicillin G and streptomycin.
