Positive results for acid and alkaline phosphatase, arginine dihydrolase, catalase, cystine arylamidase, esterase C4,
beta-galactosidase, beta-glucosidase (esculin hydrolysis), leucine arylamidase, nitrate reduction, oxidase, urease, valine arylamidase,
and acid production from glucose.
Can assimilate 3-hydroxy-benzoate, dextrin, 2- and 5-ketogluconate, propionate (weak reaction), D-ribose, suberate, valerate,
D-glucose, mannose, D-mannitol, N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, gluconate, phenylacetate, L-fucose, D-sorbitol, L-arabinose, L-histidine,
L-proline, L-rhamnose, inositol, L-alanine, L-serine, alpha-lactose, lactulose, D-psicose, inosine and succinamic acid.
Negative results for esterase-lipase C8, alpha-fucosidase, alpha-galactosidase, beta-glucuronidase, N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase,
indole production, lipase C14, protease (gelatin hydrolysis), alpha-mannosidase, trypsin and alpha-chemotrypsin.
No assimilation of acetate, adipate, caprate, citrate, itaconate, lactate, malate, malonate, maltose, melibiose, salicin,
4-hydroxy-benzoate, glycogen, sucrose and trehalose.
