Gram-negative slightly curved rods, 0.3-0.5 x 0.5-1.2 μm. Non-motile.
Colonies grown on NSY agar are unpigmented, circular and convex with smooth
surface. Growth occurs up to 31 ºC. NaCl is not required for growth. Maximum NaCl
concentration tolerated is 0.1% (w/v). Aerobic.
Isolated from the Lake Egelsee, Austria.
