Gram-negative slightly curved rods, 0.3-0.5 x 0.6-1.0 μm. Non-motile.
Colonies grown on NSY agar are non-pigmented, circular and convex with a smooth
surface. Growth occurs at 5-31 ºC. NaCl is not required for growth. Maximum NaCl
concentration tolerated is 0.4% (w/v). Aerobic.
Isolated from a small acidic bog pond located in Austria.
