Colonies on nutrient agar after 48h incubation at 32 ºC are small, round, entire,
convex, white and 1.0-1.3 mm in diameter. Growth occurs at 25-40 ºC, optimally at 32
ºC. Can grow in pH 6.0-8.0, optimally in pH 6.0. Can grow in 0.3-2% (w/v) NaCl,
optimally in 0.7% NaCl. Aerobic.

Gram-negative, short rods, 0.3-0.5 x 0.6-0.8 μm. Motile by means of a polar flagellum.
Spores are not formed.
Isolated from soil samples in the Republic of Korea.
Susceptible to ampicillin (25 μg), tetracycline (30 μg), kanamycin (30 μg), rifampicin (5 μg), gentamicin (30 μg), chloramphenicol (30
μg), novobiocin (30 μg), sulfamethoxazole + trimethoprim (25 μg) and streptomycin (25 μg).
