Gram-positive rods, 0.3-0.4 / 0.9-2.3 µm. Non-spore-forming. Non-motile.
Colonies arewhite  on MRS agar supplemented with 20% D-fructose. Facultative
anaerobe. Grows at 15-35 ºC (optimally at 30-35 ºC). Grows at pH 2.0-7.0.
Isolated from the gut of a sweat bee (Augochlorella pomoniella), USA and flowers. Resistant to ampicillin, kanamycin, vancomycin,
and chloramphenicol.
Undetermined.
Description is based mostly on API 50 CHL and API ZYM (bioMerieux) results / 4 days.

Positive results for acid and alkaline phosphatase, catalase, esterase C4 (weak activity), leucine arylamidase,
naphthol-AS-BI-phosphohydrolase, acid production from D-fructose, glucose (without gas production) and sucrose.
