bambusae Park et al. 2014.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive rods showing a rod-coccus cycle, 0.5-0.6 x 1.0-1.6 µm. Motile by gliding.
Colonies on R2A agar are smooth and white. No growth on MacConkey agar. Growth
occurs at 4-37 ºC (optimum 28-30 ºC), at pH 7.0-10.0 (optimum pH 7.0-8.0) and in
the presence of 0.0-6.0 % (w/v) NaCl. Aerobic.
Isolated from soil of a bamboo grove.
Undetermined.
