Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cells, rod–coccus-shaped, 0.8-1.0 x 1.4-1.6 µm. Motile. Non-spore-
forming.
Colonies on Marine Agar are cream-coloured and circular after 3 days of incubation at
30 ºC. Grows at 20-37 ºC (optimally at 30 ºC), at pH 6.0-8.5 (optimally at pH 7.0) and in
the presence of 0-8% (w/v) NaCl (optimally in 1% NaCl). Aerobic.
Isolated from marsh on Seogmo Island in the Republic of Korea.
Undetermined.
