Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cocci. Endospores are not formed. Nonmotile. Nonencapsulated.
Colonies are yellow-pigmented. Growth can occur in 10% NaCl. Growth is detected at
28-45 ºC and pH 7.0-9. Aerobic.
Isolated from air samples from Xinjiang, China. Sensitive to kanamycin, ampicillin, carbenicillin, chlortetracycline and erythromycin.
