Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-positive cocci, 0.8-1 / 1.0-1.2 μm. Nonmotile. Endospores are not formed.
Colonies on nutrient agar are circular, 1 mm in diameter and orange-coloured.
Growth is detected at 5-40 ºC and pH 7.0-11.0. Grows in 0-12 % (w/v) NaCl. Aerobic.
Isolated from the rhizosphere of the halophyte Arthrocnemum macrostachyum in the Lebrija marshes (Seville), Spain.
Undetermined.
