Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pasteurellales, Family Pasteurellaceae, Genus
Rodentibacter, Rodentibacter mrazii Adhikary et al. 2017.
Gram-negative cells. Non-motile.
Colonies are circular, with an entire edge, buttery consistency, 1-2 mm in diameter
and non-haemolytic after 24 h of incubation at 37 ºC on bovine blood agar. Pigment is
not produced. Synthesize porphyrin without X factor requirement. NAD (V-factor) is not
required for growth. Cannot grow with KCN. No growth on MacConkey agar.
Isolated from Apodemus silvaticus.
Undetermined.
