Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas bubulae Lick et al. 2020.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative, straight rods, 0.7 x 1.9 µm, occurring singly or in pairs. Motile.
Non-sporogenous.
Colonies are circular, convex, ivorycoloured, smooth, round and glossy , 0.5-1.0mm
in diameter, after incubation at 25 ºC for 24h on Standard-I agar or CASO agar with
glucose. Non-fluorescent on King B agar. Growth occurs at 2-33 ºC, optimally at 25-29
ºC. Growth occurs at pH 5.5-8.5 and in the presence of up to 6% (w/v) NaCl.
Non-haemolytic. Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from refrigerated raw beef.
Undetermined.
