Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas campi Timsy et al. 2021.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods. Motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on nutrient or trypticase soy agar mediums are round and translucent after
3-4days of incubation at 25 ºC. No fluorescent pigment is produced. Grows at
temperature of 37 ºC (optimum 25 ºC, no growth at 4 or 40 ºC), at pH values of 6.0-9.0
and in the presence of 0-2% (w/v) NaCl. Aerobic.
Isolated from the top soil of an extensively managed grassland plot in the Schorfheide-Chorin exploratory of the long-term biodiversity
research platform in Germany.
Undetermined.
