- Pseudomonas cedrina subsp. fulgida Behrendt et al. 2009.
Historical synonym: Pseudomonas cedrella Dabboussi et al. 2002.
Gram-negative rods, 0.8 x 2.5-4.2 μm, motile by means of one or two polar flagella.
Colonies on nutrient agar are circular, smooth, and non-pigmented. Fluorescent
pigment is produced on King B agar. No hemolysis on blood agar. Optimum
temperature 21-28 ºC. Growth occurs at 4 ºC, but not at 41ºC. Growth media: King B
agar, Trypticase Soy Broth Agar, Nutrient Agar, Caso Agar. No growth occurs with 5%
NaCl in the medium. Aerobic.
Isolated from spring water in Lebanon (subsp. cedrina) and from phyllosphere of grasses (subsp. fulgida).
Unknown.
