Genus Pseudomonas,
Pseudomonas defluvii Qin et al. 2020.

Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 1–1.5 x 2.0–3.0 µm. Motile by one flagellum. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on BHI agar plates after 24 h of incubation at 30 ºC are round, convex,
smooth, with entire margins and approximately 2.0-4.0 mm in diameter. Growth
occurs in 0-3 % (w/v) NaCl, at pH varying from pH 5 to 9 and the temperatures range
4-37 ºC. A fluorescent pigment is produced on Pseudomonas agar F. Obligate
aerobic.
Isolated from the wastewater treatment plant at West China Hospital in Chengdu, PR China.
Resistant to ampicillin, amoxicillin- clavulanic acid, aztreonam, cefazolin, cefepime, cefoxitin, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, imipenem,
levofloxacin, piperacillin-tazobactam and trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole. Susceptible to amikacin, gentamicin and tobramycin.
Undetermined.
