Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,

Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.8-1.0 x 2.2-2.7 µm. Motile by several polar-subpolar flagella.

Colonies morphology on nutrient agar is circular convex, dark beige, and usually 1.2
to 1.7 mm in diameter within 2 days growth at 28 ºC. Maximum growth temperature is
36 ºC (optimum 28 ºC), pH range for growth is 5-9 (optimum at pH 7), can grow at
0-6% NaCl concentration in tryptic soy broth (TSB) with optimum growth at 0% NaCl
concentration in TSB. Strictly aerobic.
Isolated from rhizospheric soil of Cistus ladanifer L. in Rabanales (Zamora), Spain.
