Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas granadensis Pascual et al. 2015.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.3-0.7 x 1.1-2.2 µm. Motile by one polar flagellum.
Non-spore-forming.
After 48 h of incubation at 28 ºC on TSA, colonies are white-yellow, circular (approx.
3-5 mm in diameter), convex with regular edges and mucoid. Produces neither
fluorescein on King B medium nor pyocyanin on King A medium. Growth is observed at
4-37 ºC (optimum 28 ºC) and on media supplemented with 0.5-5% (w/v) NaCl
(optimum 0.5%). Aerobic.
Isolated from a soil sample collected from the Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park, Granada, Spain.
Undetermined.
