Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas izuensis Lu et al. 2020.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.8 x 1.2-2.5 μm. Motile by a tuft of flagella at a polar end.
Colonies grown on TSA are moist and creamy-white in colour. A fluorescent pigment
is not produced when grown on King B agar. Grows at temperatures of 5-32 ºC
(optimally at 24-28 ºC), at pH 5-9 and in 0-4% NaCl (w/v).
Isolated from a volcanic island soil, Izu Oshima, Japan.
Undetermined.
