Phylum Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Class Gammaproteobacteria, Order Pseudomonadales, Family Pseudomonadaceae,
Genus Pseudomonas, Pseudomonas mangrovi Ye et al. 2019.
Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative short rods, 0.5-0.7 x 0.5-1.9 µm. Non-motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies are creamy, circular, convex, smooth and 0.5-1.5 mm in diameter after 3
days incubation on Marine Agar at 35 ºC. Growth occurs at 15-45 ºC (optimum 35 ºC).
The pH range for growth is pH 5.5-9.5 (optimum pH 7.5). Cells can grow in the
presence of 0-8% (w/v) NaCl (optimum, 1.0%). Aerobic.
Isolated from rhizosphere soil of mangrove forest (Kandeliaobovata) in Fugong village, Zhangzhou, Fujian, China.
Undetermined.
