Species description is based on a single isolate.
Gram-negative, round-ended rods, 0.7-1.0 x 1.0-2.2 µm. Motile by 1 or 3  flagella.
Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on TSA are smooth, circular and non-pigmented (creamy yellow).  
Non-haemolytic on blood agar. A fluorescent pigment is produced on Pseudomonas
agar F, but no pyocyanin is produced on Pseudomonas agar P. Growth occurs at 5-42
ºC (optimum, 30-37 ºC), but not at 45-60 ºC). Growth occurs at pH 4-9 (optimum, pH
6-8) and on media containing 0-6% (w/v) NaCl; no growth in 7-10% NaCl. Aerobic; no
anaerobic growth.
Isolated from soil.
