Gram-negative rods, 0.5-0.8 x 1.5-2.0 μm. Motile. Non-spore-forming.
Colonies on Mueller-Hinton agar are rough, pastel green in colour, 2-4 mm in
diameter after 24 h incubation at 35 ºC. Grows at 20-42 ºC (optimum 30-35 ºC), at pH
5.5-9.5 (optimum pH 5.5-8.5) and in the presence of 1-5% NaCl. Aerobic.
